Happy Birthday Aunt Tee!

Image
I bet there are very few people who have an aunt like Aunt Tee. She is the greatest aunt that ever lived! She is my dad's sister and is so good at staying involved in our lives. A special treat for the Terry children is that anyone who is in Provo going to college gets to go to California for Thanksgiving every year. I looked forward to it for years before I came out to the Y. She knows that it's too expensive to go home to VA just for Thanksgiving and so she hosts us at her home in Palo Alto. My Thanksgivings in Palo Alto will always have a special place in my heart. She also helped me a lot with wedding planning, since I pretty much didn't know what I was doing, for which I am so grateful for! She even flew out for one of my bridal showers! Aunt Tee is always showing us how much she loves and cares about us and I'm sure that I can speak for all the Terry children when I say, "WE LOVE OUR AUNT TERESA!"

Best Birthday Everrrrr

So...I had a pretty awesome 21st birthday if I do say so myself. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE IT SO!!!! Calls, texts, messages on facebook, voicemails singing happy birthday, and even an early morning phone call ;-) It's great to have a day when friends and family just want to let them know that your existence on the earth means something to them. Haha. Jayce made me pink waffles in the morning and then I headed off to my last day of summer term classes...I had to take a sewing practical exam. Don't laugh--it was stinking hard. Luckily my day looked up after that! Scott and Jessica were nice enough to accompany us to lunch at Tucano's. Just for future reference--servers at Tucano's are NOT necessarily Portuguese speakers, Scott checked ;-) P.S. I am thoroughly going to enjoy that cinemark gift card!! Thanks again guys! Jayce made a double layered fun-fetti cake. So proud! Friends! I was even given a second birthday party at home in VA after our arrival. Best birthday eve...

Summer Schmorgesborg

So, I didn't update the blog about quite a few things and I was just going to brush them off, but the blog is kinda serving as my journaling at the moment and I'd feel bad if posterity missed out on a second of the Jayce and Sarah 2010 summer. (Plus I'd love another excuse to procrastinate some more homework..) So here is the schmorgesborg! Way back at the end of June we took a trip down to California to visit Jayce's older sister and her family. Love those trips! Cheese fondue...it's tradition! (said in voice from Ever After) Girl's outing to get pedicures on "Kimber Day!" (This must become tradition) No discrimination here, the boys had their own spa time! It amazes me how many people are at this table and that's not even everybody on Jayce's side! On our way down we got to stop by my grandpa's grave for the first time which was great for me since I couldn't go to the funeral. He's buried on an air force base, so he gets to have ...
