Dory Hill Camping
We took Cam Bam camping for the first time this weekend with some of our friends. It was about an hour and a half away, but so worth it to be in the mountains. They were beautiful! However, Provo Canyon spoiled me with it's straight roads. The last 9 miles of the trip was super twisty and curvy because the road was further up the mountain and hugged it's side. Not a match made in heaven for a motion sick lady. Sadly, I have passed on my car sickness to Cam too because he threw up all over himself about 10 minutes before we reached the campsite. Poor boy! We all arrived and started setting up camp when a torrential downpour sprang up on us. Rain, hale, coldness. I was a little worried about how successful this trip was going to be to say the least. (What if it does this all night? What if we can't start a fire to cook our tinfoil dinner? Does this place do refunds?)
