Observations from Lord of the Rings
So, Jayce and I had a Lord of the Rings movie marathon a few weeks back and I just want to tell you now to buckle up for some profound thoughts on the experience. This shouldn't be shocking to anyone, you know what I am. Just in case though, this is me sounding the official nerd alert. 1. In my opinion, who gets the "Best All Around" award in the Fellowship? Easy. Samwise. I remember watching The Fellowship of the Ring at home with my Dad in high school and after the scene where Frodo saves Sam from drowning because Sam refused to leave Frodo's side my Dad said something like, "I just love these movies! I guess it's because of the strong theme of male bonding and brotherhood." Love you Dad! I remember that every time I watch them. A few favorite Samwise moments...
