6 Month Anniversary!

Jayce and I have officially been married for half a year! Yesterday was our six month anniversary. Crazy how time flies, we could not believe it. Half a year seems like such an achievement but it flew by so stinking fast! I wonder what it will be like to reach 25 years, or 50, etc. Can't wait. :-)
Above is a picture of Jayce before dinner. The day did not turn out quite as I had anticipated, but come what may and love it, right? So, we ended up actually sitting down to eat around 9:45 p.m., pretty late for dinner, but I wanted to celebrate no matter what. Shout out to Carissa Rasmussen because I stole the recipe for the pasta dinner off of her blog. It's soooo good too. We even pulled out our honeymoon glasses to have some sparkling cider.

Isn't he just the cutest? I was so excited to give Jayce this gift, but the beautiful lettering I had in mind for "Love the people" turned out to kind of look like a 5th grader's project..so maybe one day I'll try to make it look a little more professional! I love this picture of Christ holding an African child and every time I see it I think of Jayce because of his mission to Ghana. So, it was the purchase I made at Deseret Book's lady's night. "Love the people" holds a lot of personal meaning for Jayce and I wanted it to be hanging up somewhere in our home as a good reminder for us.
I love Jayce Benson Porter! He is just the greatest thing in the world to me. We remarked last night that we just keep falling more and more in love with each other every day. I guess that means we are on the right track. :-)
