These Days...

Image
These days have been exciting, funny, packed, and let's face it...even a little bit scary. However Jayce and I have quite enjoyed "these days." We'd like to share a little bit of them with you: *Spring Term and the MCAT are out of the way= a big plus. Now lots of more decisions to be made and on to summer term! Jayce and I rather enjoyed having two new roommates for a week: Aren't they just so gosh darn cute? Lindsey and Porter spent some of their last days in Provo shacking it up in our living room because a. their apartment is in boxes, b. Josh has been in Alabama doing Air Force training, and c. there are some creepy people in Provo, so there's always safety in numbers! Part of the reason why it was so fun for Jayce was because he could have male bonding time in the mornings while watching the World Cup! I'm just not quite as fun to watch sport games with... It felt like I wasn't even in school. We played games, we ate, we talked, we relaxed, we watched movies, and the list goes on. (And don't worry Dad Porter, we did do some cabin maintenance!) We're back to our normal regiment: school, dance, work, med school applications, blah blah blah, but we're enjoying it. We are rejuvenated and ready to press forward. After reading a particularly good talk in the Ensign this month, " Don't Be in a Hurry ," we've decided to take time out every day just to meditate, or as Brother Bott always says, "to take time to sit and watch the paint peel on the wall." Life is so chaotic these days, sometimes the important things start to take the back seat. Taking time out to just ponder allows time to slo...
