The Bean
Almost a year and a half ago Jayce and I were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and all eternity.
At the time, I found my fortune to have three pregnant bridesmaids quite hilarious and I rather enjoyed it. Rebekah and Kimber I had known about for months (obviously from their condition in the picture) but Lindsey I heard about just days before the wedding. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take fun pictures with them at the wedding.

This was taken at 6 weeks, I'll be 16 weeks in two days. :-) I'm due May 29th!
Frequently asked questions:
1. Have you been sick? I for sure have not had as worse of a first trimester as some women that I've talked to. However, it has not been "fun" by any means. I have a love hate relationship with food. Instead of getting hungry (which by the way is about every hour and a half) I just start to feel sick. Then I don't really want to eat, because I feel sick, but I know that food is the only thing that will make me feel better, so I have to. Love-hate. Nauseousness is NO FUN either!! It's normally worst in the mornings, but luckily I learned that eating crackers in bed for the first 15 minutes of being awake or so works miracles! Over the last few weeks it has eased off a ton. Now as long as I eat all the day long, I'm okay. (Bleh...I always thought eating for two would be soooo awesome. I was wrong.)
2. Do you know the gender? Nope! We'll find out at 20 weeks, so sometime after we get home from Christmas break in January.
3. Are you excited? Initially, super excited. I'm not gonna lie though, I haven't been able to look passed the nauseousness for a while. I forget that it's actually happening to me, most of the time it doesn't feel real for some reason! I almost feel like I'm lying to people when I tell them I'm pregnant haha, it's that bad. I can't wait to be able to feel it move, and I just live for the next doctor's appointment when I'll be able to hear the heart beat again. Call me paranoid, but I just always get scared that the worst will happen. I'll feel much better when I can poke my stomach and feel something kick back. :-) So, bottom line--yes, Jayce and I are super excited!! It's just been hard to feel like it's really happening the last little while. Now I'm slowly transitioning into the fun part of the pregnancy, which I could not be more happy about!
