Jayce: A few nights ago, the baby and I were having one of our first bonding moments! He was super active and started punching and kicking Sarah all over the place. I would scratch Sarah's belly in one spot and then he would start kicking right after in that same spot. He kept doing this over and over for some time. It was like our first conversation. ;) So, I got right up to Sarah's stomach and told the baby to tap twice if he was going to stay in there until after the MCAT. Low and behold...two taps immediately followed in that same spot! We were both shocked and pretty excited! Now the real question is, was the baby being honest with his parents or not? Only time will tell. :)

Baby Bump

Here's to 33 weeks! I couldn't believe how big I was then and now I'm here: 35 weeks! I looked at myself in the mirror in the bathroom at church and literally busted up laughing. It was good thing nobody else was in there. I just can't believe how funny it looks! I have a basketball growing out of my belly! I can't believe that my due date is in one month too. I think about it all the time without it really sinking in. I'm going to get to the week before my due date (that is if he doesn't come early) and then have a panic attack upon realizing, "Oh my gosh I'm due to have a baby!" The whole ticking time bomb thing hasn't quite sunk in. Maybe after exams are over next week I'll have more time to let it sink in. Here's to having babies!

Family Fun

A few weeks ago we had a visit from the beloved Nardone family! Josh gets spring breaks now that he's in dental school...so excited for Jayce to get those later. So, they drove on down and spent a fun week with all the Porter's in Provo. I'm sure they'd say that their favorite part of the visit was sleeping on our couches/air mattress... :-) They picked the perfect week to have spring break though because neither Jayce nor I had any tests that week. It was amazing. It gave us more time to play. We watched BYU play their last game of the season, fun, but also kind of crushing. Jimmer-we wish you well. Every once in a while during basketball season Jayce would stare out into space and say, "Wouldn't it be nice if I was Jimmer right now? How awesome would that be?" referring to his fame, his soon-to-be fortune, his basketball skills, etc. Well Jayce Face, I'm terribly happy that you are my Jayce Face. :-) Of course we finished off the week by going up to ...

Some Randoms

So, I'm basically using the blog as my journal at this point, thus my need to post just about everything. I don't want things left out when I print this sucker off! Here we have some Porter updates I didn't want to be left out of documentation: Mom and Dad sent us a start-up package for the baby and we were so excited!! THANK YOU! Center Stage's ballet department put on Peter Pan last month. It was quite the ordeal, but it all came together and it looked great. My classes loved performing on stage. Performances really are the best. Below we have my fireflies (don't be offended Virginians, I know they don't look like real fireflies but the red costumes and lights were beautiful on stage!) and my little pirates, quite the entertainment. My old roommates still love to do fun things. They already have an annual Pumpkin Party around Halloween time and this year they decided to do a ShamROCK party in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Green and gold galore! It was such a...
