Cameron Eats

I realize most people probably think more videos of Cameron are getting rather old and boring, but I'm a mom...I just can't help it. Plus, this is for the interested relatives that aren't here to experience it!

At Cameron's 6 month check up the doctor said that we should start beefing him up a bit more because he's dropped a little on his curve upward in weight and height. My milk supply has been dwindling for a while and so we're facing the music and supplementing with formula as well. It's actually been working out really well and takes the stress off of me because now I know that he is eating enough.

We've also started to work in some real food because his tummy is now ready to go! His taste buds are another story. We decided to start with vegetables because I read in one book that it gives them a better chance of liking vegetables, whereas if you start with fruit it might make it harder for them to get into vegetables. However, I just barely read in another book that it doesn't matter which you start with because they are going to prefer fruit tastes either way. Typical. If there is one thing I've learned in parenthood it's that there are two passionate sides to every coin. You basically just pick and choose what sounds best to you, so we're starting with vegetables!

I have really enjoyed this book so far though:
If you are into do-it-yourself, more natural stuff this is the book for you. If you think that all things organic are ridiculous, it's still probably the book for you. My mom gave it to me for my birthday and I've just barely started using it, but I'm loving it so far.

Happy eating people!
