Cameron's 2nd Birthday
I was nervous that Cameron's birthday would get lost in the adjustment period after having Jackson and Benson, but it ended up being a really fantastic day. I really wanted him to feel special and I think he definitely did. It was so cute to watch him enjoy his birthday so much!
I just love this little boy. He has handled the transition like a champion and I'm so proud of him. I can't believe that he is actually 2 now, he's never ever ever growing up! The day he stops wanting my make-it-better kisses, my hugs, my eskimo kisses, and my hand to hold when he wants to feel safe is the day I think I'll just keel over and die. Right on the spot. I can't handle it! Oh Cambajamba, I love you!
We did blue birthday pancakes for breakfast, and Jayce experimented with our cookie cutters to make some fun shapes for him. :-) After breakfast Jayce went to school for a while and then he joined us again to go to Cherry Creek in the afternoon. Food, friends, Grammy Terry, water, sand, his cousins, and a kite...he was in hog heaven!
That night Cam's best friend, Michael, came over for some cupcakes and male bonding time. These two are hilarious together and we are so bummed to see the Snelson's move! You will be sorely missed!
:-)
He had a full night of fun and even a surprise visit from our really good friends from Provo, the Alvey's! They stopped by on their way to Utah and it was so nice to see them again. I'm so glad that they stopped by. You never know when you'll get the chance to see old friends again, so it's worth every chance you get! Then he opened his birthday gifts from the family and pretty much partied hard way passed his bed time. He was so cute with his presents and LOVES them all so much. It was just so cute to see him be so happy! We all had a wonderful day. :-)
