Porter Boys Highlight

These are all of my boys. I quite like them.


 Benson and Jackson have been starting to play with each other more and more, for better and for worse. It's adorable to watch them interact, but they do tend to get under each other's skin. 

What does that hair feel like? Should I grab it? I should definitely grab it.

Benson has two eyeballs? Let me just check and see that they're real.

I love this toy in my hands, I could play with this all day long! Oh, Jack has a toy? Who plays with a toy like this? Jack's toy is surely more entertaining. Gimme, gimme, gimme.

Or there's this one. Jack and Ben were both playing on Daddy's night stand. Nice and happy.

But then Ben fell onto his bum. He doesn't quite know how to pull himself up on his own yet, so I was trying to let him figure it out.  
Oh I get it, Jack wants to be my ladder!

Needless to say, it was not okay with Jackie Boy!

They can play pretty well together though. :-)



We went to a really fun Wreck It Ralph themed birthday party for Cameron's friend, Lilly a couple of weeks ago. There was a candy go-cart making station and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, Jayce or Cameron.


Can you see many Pine Wood Derby's in their future??!

Welcome to the World Aiden Titus

Something big arrived in the Porter Family early in the morning on September 29! He's big, he's blonde, and he has kisses all over his chunky cheeks...welcome to the world Aiden Titus Porter!  He was my second largest baby weighing in at 8 lb 10 oz, his abundance of blonde hair is reminiscent of Cameron, he's the 17th grandchild on the Porter side and the 14th on the Terry side and he came into the world fast and furious like his next-older brother, Spencer. He also completes the Porter basketball team. Summer Olympics 2032, here we come! Mom's Gone

My Mom died in the early hours of June 29 of complications from pneumonia. She was one month shy of her 67 th birthday. I’ll be processing everything from the morning of her death to the day she was buried for a long time. I’m so grateful that I was able to talk to my mom just two days before she passed. I had sat down at my computer after rocking Spencer to sleep and it was quiet time in the Porter house. My mind went blank as soon as I sat down and I relaxed, which is abnormal because I usually feel torn between doing ten things at once when I sit down to “get stuff done” during quiet time. So I thought, “Well, what should I do?
