Porter Boy Highlights
Someone got their first bad cold. Can you guess who it was?!
Hahaha! I mean...poor Jacky Boy.
Jackson has become quite the climber extraordinaire which means that he has also collected his fair share of bruises and swollen lips. He busted his lip twice within a week's time and now it's black and blue with three little scabs. He climbs into/onto anything at a good height.
He is also really into toilets. Yesssss.
He also is in love with the pizza cutter. If you want to know what to get him for his bday, it could be a pizza cutter sharpening kit. When the dishwasher is locked he turns it on, when the dishwasher is unlocked he can open it up, so we just try to keep him out of the kitchen in general. There was one day that he took every possible chance that he could though and I was about to pull my hair out if I saw him holding the pizza cutter one more time. In hindsight, I should have just hand washed it--I'll blame that on mom brain too!
The heartache of losing the pizza cutter:
Benson!
I often find Benson like this:
And it makes me happy every time. :-)
He also has his naughty side:
This used to happen every day. Open the cupboard and then bam bam bam as fast as his little arms could throw things out.
It's often a team effort too.
And he's walking now! He can do it on his own, but he doesn't like to, so we're working on that. But when he is pushing something or holding your hand he loves it and gets a big old bright-eyed Benson smile on his face!
Benson is also a big fan of playing with the round, silver lever that turns the shower on and off when the tub is filling up. He turns it on and then turns to look up at you with the most innocent, "Did I do that?" expression.
And they both pulled Cameron's stool in when I wasn't looking.
We are also getting into a "I'd rather poke his eyes out than share with him" stage and that's going reeaaallly well.
Lastly for Jack and Ben, sometimes they have a really hard time watching Daddy leave in the morning:
Cameron!
Cameron had a great time at the Parker Days parade. I'm a parade lover, so that made me happy. :)
He also rode a little train ride all by himself!
I was really proud.
He ALSO rode one of the pony's at Parker Days! I couldn't believe it! This was a big step for Cambajamba, who really doesn't like feeling out of control of his body. He asked if he could and everything. Being on a big animal like this was BIG for him and I was so proud of him!!!! Of course, after the first 30 seconds the horse sneezed rather forcefully and after that he kept asking to get down, but he did it!
Speaking of being brave, it also went fairly deep into Cherry Creek by himself. This picture doesn't show how deep he went, but I was super impressed. Just facing fears left and right, this one! Now he's just got to start enjoying his floaties in the pool.
Annnnd I had a great time building this bloks tower with him.
