A fan-stinking-tastic Thanksgiving
Jayce and I had a nice, relaxing Thanksgiving trip to Aunt Teresa and Uncle Ken's house in Palo Alto, CA. Jayce was there Wednesday-Sunday and I stayed for a full week. Aunt Tee and I enjoyed some girl time after Uncle Ken and Jayce left!
Flight #1: Cam was kind of a monster on and off the whole flight. It was miraculous when he fell asleep for the last 30 minutes, but it did NOT excite me about the return flight without Jayce.
I couldn't help taking a picture the next morning. Father and son bed head. Love these men!
Cam loved the nice weather and actually having a backyard to play in. We went out there just about every day of our visit. He LOVES being outside! To top it off Aunt Tee had a few rubber balls out there for him to play with...he was in Heaven. Here he is with our favorite little garden gnome.
One of the first things Jayce did outside was lay out on the lawn chair. As soon as he was off of it, Cameron wanted to try. He wants to be just like Daddy. :-)
And then he had an accident. We had sent my family a few pictures of Cameron at Aunt Tee's and then when we sent more pictures over the next few days they noticed that a big red mark had appeared on Cam's forehead. They were wondering what had happened to him and lucky for all of you, I even got it on video.
Poor boy!! He fell right off, but luckily Jayce caught him before he completely crumpled to the ground. A red bump instantly started forming and after his nap it had turned into a big bruise.
Cam loved playing with his new trains from Grammy and Grandpa Terry.
We went on a couple of walks and after a while Cam would get out of the stroller and insist that it was his turn to push it.
We were all amazed when Cameron let Aunt Tee hold his hand. So cute! I think that we've learned the key to helping Cam adjust to new people though. You have to take it really slow with him and be patient. Love him from a distance and don't try to hold him/do much with him until he comes to you first. And then you can win him over!
Thanksgiving!!! It was the Judd/Porter/Quigley clan for dinner.
While I was walking around with Cam in the hallway during church I found the missionary board and decided I needed a picture with it. That's my Dad!
