A Little Outnumbered...

So, at my 12 week appointment the ultra sound technician was doing her thing and showing me my little peanuts and says, "Well...do you want to know the gender?" And the first thing I say is, "Do you know what they are?!" because I didn't know it was possible to tell so early. She assures me that she is so certain that she would start shopping based on what she was seeing. Jayce wasn't there, I turned away while she got the close ups and she put the pictures in an envelope with a little note in it so that I could take it home and open it with Jayce. We were so stinking excited!

Drum roll please....it looks like I'm going to be 1 woman among 4 men come May! Hahaha, I TOTALLY thought I was going to have a boy and a girl (probably just because I had the perfect boy/girl names picked out for twins-blast!). But I was dead set, I thought it was that whole mother's intuition thing...maybe next time I'll get it right!

It has been really hard for me to imagine TWO more little boys that aren't Cameron. I know that sounds weird, but it's so hard to picture 2 more little boys, that are my sons, that are not the exact same as Cameron. That's probably what it's like for every parent though...maybe? It makes me really excited to see them because I know I'm going to be blown away by how different they might look, what all of their different personality traits will be, etc. It's just exciting to imagine how different each child will be and how they each will bring something new and great to the family. Yay for boys!

Here are a couple of pictures from a gender reveal party that my friend Debbie threw me. Wish I got more, she did such a great job with it!
