You'll Be With Me, Like a Handprint On My Heart

I've been reminded over and over again this week how lucky I have been in so many of my friendships. Last Sunday we had a lesson on friendship in which I was reminded how I can be a better friend and it made me admire so many qualities I see in my friends.

In each phase of my life I've relied a lot on the amazing women around me and they have helped shape who I am. I love the sisterhood I am surrounded by. Heavenly Father certainly knows what people I've needed around me and when.

In an LDS General Conference, Elder Marlin K. Jensen said, "I pray that we will now be to others what He is to us: a true friend. At no time will we be more Christlike than when we are a friend." Thanks to so many of you who have lived up to that. I'm flooded with memories of friends lifting me up when I needed it, making me laugh, and just listening to me babble.

On my way home from my old roommate's wedding this week, the kids were passed out in the car and I just listened to "For Good" from Wicked over and over again for an hour. Couldn't get enough of it! It so perfectly fit my mood and described my overflowing love for my friends. I just grabbed whatever I could quickly find on my computer picture wise to represent different phases of my life, so I by no means have everyone represented here. So, know that I love you all! Here's to all you ladies.

Who can say if I've been changed for the better
Because I knew you
I have been changed for good
