Heading Home

We drove back to Vegas on Sunday and dropped Rachel and Henry off at the air port. It was so nice to get time with Rachel in the car. We talked each other's ears off from the spooky to the dreams and aspirations. I have such cool siblings.

We made it to the Sacrament Meeting of a ward in Vegas and then went back to the place Jayce was staying and crashed for a bit.
Originally we planned on me driving straight home after dropping off Rachel, but the couple Jayce was staying with offered for us to stay the night and we were so wiped out that we couldn't refuse. They were so kind to us. What a blessing!

Remember how I said that they had the most awesome stereotypical grandparent house?
This is their Eagle Scout wall. Every kid/grandkid goes up on the wall when they have earned their Eagle and then the grandkids are given an eagle statue from the Nelson's collection. It was darling.

Some pit stops on the way home.
We stopped in St. George to see the temple again since me having to drive back for the shoes at the cemetery on the way down prevented us from going before.

Jack with a Twi Book of Mormon to show that we were thinking of Jayce. I don't know why he licked it at the last second and I did not encourage it. Way to desecrate church property Jack!

Lunch before hitting the road again.

The boys all passed out after lunch so it was just me and the open road. They slept for almost the whole way home too, it was a miracle! They were really wasted from the trip.

About an hour away from home I was really feeling exhausted so I had to rely on One Direction to wake me up again. I had my own sing-a-long with two of their songs for about thirty minutes until I was sufficiently satisfied that I was good and awake.

Until next time!
