Halloween Day 2016
Halloween was the day after we got home from Florida. The best part was laying on a blanket outside and soaking in Fall while Jack and Ben played in the dirt and ran around doing the great things boys should do outside.
We had red pepper soup for dinner because it was orange and out of a carton from Costco, which made it an obvious choice for the evening in my book.
We ended up loading the boys in the car to go trick-or-treating in another neighborhood because there wasn't too much happening on our street. The one we went to was pretty fun. A lot of people decked out for Halloween. It was frustrating here and there as most Halloween experiences seem to be for us, but I'm glad that the boys really loved being their Star Wars characters. Jack and Ben were the cutest Storm Troopers around and I get a kick out of watching the boys trick-or-treat each year. Ben doesn't get deterred from the scary decorations. He gave a woman in costume with her face painted like a skull a hug just because she asked for one.
