Happy Halloweeny!
Halloween this year was a fun one! I hadn't been feeling up to putting too much effort into Halloween costumes, so I called up my sister-in-law and asked if I could borrow her's from last year. Total costume stealer, I know! But hey, we got "Best Family Theme" at our ward Trunk-or-Treat so the shame wore off quickly. ;-)
At Trunk-or-Treat:
On Halloween we went trick-or-treating in the late afternoon at Jayce's school. All of the offices (secretaries, dean, teachers, etc.) were open for kids to come door to door and it was so fun! I wish I actually got a picture of Cam walking around. He loved the attention and people were more than willing to give it to him. Plus, once we hit the upstairs rooms people had checked out and just left their candy bowls up for grabs sooo....Mom and Dad scored too!
After that we went to one more neighborhood close to where we were going for our Halloween party that night. In the 8 houses or so that we went to we made bank. One guy was even handing out full-sized candy bars! Thank heavens Cameron grabbed the Twix.
Then we meandered over to the medical people party. (our bff's) And Meg got some good pictures of a few of the couples there:
Here we have Meg herself with Brandon and Evie. Or should I say Captain America, the Hulk, and Black Widow?
The McCurdy's--Meet the Flinstones!
The Hayden's--2 pirates, a mermaid, and a lobster. Thank goodness Lydia was trick-or-treating with us because she was the only kid that could actually say "trick-or-treat"!
Bethurem's--boxing buddies and a butterfly!
Mulliner's--love that little giraffe!!
We ate dinner, had a relay race, and frosted cookies...doesn't get much better, right??
You are so cute I can't even handle it.
