A birthday party! Our night to watch kids in our babysitting co-op was just a couple of days before J&B's bdays, so I went ahead and made it their birthday party. I knew what cakes I'd be making, but a few hours before the party I thought, "I should throw in some games..." So, I did what works best in a pinch and copied my brilliant sister! I knew she had done a Star Wars bday party for Sweet Baby James last year and so I looked at her blog and used her Jedi training ideas. Score! They were nice and simple. The kids took turns walking along the curb with a book or two on their heads because Jedi need balance. Then they passed hard boiled eggs, left over from Easter, back and forth on spoons and had to "use the force" to keep them on their spoons. Someone got their first bad cold. Can you guess who it was?! Hahaha! I mean...poor Jacky Boy. Jackson has become quite the climber extraordinaire which means that he has also collected his fair share of bruises and swollen lips. He busted his lip twice within a week's time and now it's black and blue with three little scabs. He climbs into/onto anything at a good height. He is also really into toilets. Yesssss. He also is in love with the pizza cutter. If you want to know what to get him for his bday, it could be a pizza cutter sharpening kit. When the dishwasher is locked he turns it on, when the dishwasher is unlocked he can open it up, so we just try to keep him out of the kitchen in general. There was one day that he took every possible chance that he could though and I was about to pull my hair out if I saw him holding the pizza cutter one more time. In hindsight, I should have just hand washed it--I'll blame that on mom brain too! ...

Meg and I did a nice skill trade that landed me with a free newborn shoot for Jack and Ben. THANKS MEGARA! Love trades right now. I know, I know. My nerd is showing. But I mean, we knew they would be in Gryffindor. And now for the faces behind the magic ;-) bahahahahahhahahaha
