Med School Wives
Every time I talk to family lately I've been able to say, "Yeah, I went and did blah blah blah with the med school wives." And the responses are always, "Haha, 'med school wives'-that sounds like it should be a show!" or "How do you already know other people?!" Well, here you are! You can meet them too. :-)
I love friends. I love my friends from previous stages of my life and I love the friends that I have already made in this stage of my life. I can tell that medical school is going to be a fun four years with these ladies by my side.
Top L to R: Emily, Kori, Ambry, Megan, Debbie, Maria
Bottom: Kelly, Me
These are most of the first year wives. We have yet to meet a few others I think, but we'll rope them in soon enough! We have been doing stuff ever since orientation week and I LOVE it! Pool, park, splash pads, girls nights, running, and Cherry Creek Reservoir. I even made them come over for ice cream on my birthday so that I could still celebrate while Jayce needed to study after dinner. ;-) (My bday was a perfect day by the way. Jayce is awesome. Have I mentioned that I love him? I do!)
Anyways, these girls rock.
Cherry Creek:
Megan and Evie, Kori and Lydia, Me and Cam Bam
Pool/one of the splash pads--Maria has the coolest pool ever!
And thanks to them, it's official again...I'm running a half marathon at the end of September! It's taken me forreevveerrr to get the motivation to do a run again. Which half marathon you might ask? The medical school wives half/10k/5k that we put together. Free because we just picked a day to run it on the trail? Yes. Fun? Extremely. Matching Tie-dye t-shirts? Oh, yes. :-) Can't wait!
