Life in the Fast Lane

Cam said good bye to his best friend...he was a little depressed.

Jackson hit me with his best shot.

Jayce and I found a yummy shaved ice place--that's big for us.
We went on a family date and then sat in the back of the car with Cam and watched Toy Story. Have  you watched that lately? I'm pretty sure the Toy Story's are my favorite Pixar's.

Cameron really enjoys tummy time with Jack and Ben and I love it!

McCall got pulled over for a blown out tail light on our way home from a girl's night. Great times with great ladies! haha.

There has been a lot of this in the house:

But luckily a lot more of this too:
Jackson and Benson even had a streak when they slept for 5-6 hours at a time at night, so I only had to get up once with them. I'm just hoping it becomes more consistent!

Ben tilts his head SO MUCH in his car seat. I mean passed 90 degrees. Cameron used to do this as well, but Jayce and I thought it was pretty funny when we were unbuckling him and noticed he had imprinted "PUSH" on his face from the buckle. Oh dear!

The 4th of July! One of my favorite holidays. :-) We went and saw the fireworks in Aurora. It was all fun and games until the fireworks actually started. Once the loud pops (and I do mean loud because we were RIGHT there) started, the kids, who had been running around happily with each other, stopped and stared for a moment and then ran crying to the parents. Cameron sat in my lap for about 30 seconds before he started bawling saying, "I don't like it!!!" and then he proceeded to yank away from me and head for the hills. Meanwhile Cam's cousin is running around in panicked circles because he doesn't even know what to do, and the little boy next to us is screaming at the top of his lungs. Wish I had it all on film! I grabbed Cam and walked him away from the fireworks for a while with him saying, "Go that wayyyy...go that wayyy..!" motioning as far away from the fireworks as he could. After lots of snuggling and talking about the colors in the sky he let me slowly inch back to our party and we ended like this on the blanket:

Cameron finally let me put a bow tie on him for church:

The wee babes and I have gotten good use out of our zoo pass that Jayce bought us before leaving for COT. It has been so great because Cameron is so cute about the animals. He gets so excited now and hearing him talk about them makes it all the more fun. Now after we do an activity that he really loved he'll talk about it later and recall it for you which is also really fun. It's been so cute to hear him tell Jayce about what he saw at the zoo, or what he did that day during our g-chats.

We were making a card to send to Daddy when Cameron decided that putting stickers on Mommy is soooo much more appealing than paper.

I'm pretty stinking biased...but does it get any cuter??

Lindsey and I discovered Belleview Park, which proved to be super fun for the kids. A petting zoo, a train ride, a stream to play in, and wide open grassy fields to run around in. Cam heaven.

We celebrate 7-Eleven day in this family.

Decided to take a quick shower while Cameron was eating breakfast and Jack and Ben were still sleeping the other day. Don't judge! As soon as I turned off the water I hear Cameron call out, "Uh-oh smoothie Mommy!!!"

Whew! Marathon post!
