Pre-Christmas Activities
Cameron has yet to see ninja turtles, but he already loves them after a recent birthday party. I couldn't complain when he came home looking like this. I'm excited for him to get more and more into dress-ups!
Aunt Tee and Uncle Ken came out to Park City for a conference and we got to spend a few hours in Salt Lake with them before they went home!
Jayce finally got another go at ping pong against Dr. Hill. Dr. Hill reigned victorious, but Jayce still had a lot of fun. :-) All of the med students (and spouses) who are out here for rotations got together to talk about the rotations program here in Utah with some of the coordinators. It was a really good night and I'm hoping that it means great things are in store for this rotation site in the future.
I got to meet baby Henry for the first time!!!!! This little nephew is a squishy, smiley, snoring tank and I love him!
We went to the park, but this little boy was only interested in snuggling in the car, so we sat there for a few minutes while the other two played. Jack's snuggles are fairly rare, so I take them when I can.
My first time ever at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert! It was great. This year they had the Sesame Street muppets and I thought they might get kind of annoying, but they had me at their first entrance. If you have little kids, I would definitely recommend getting the DVD copy next Christmas season to watch as a family. The muppets were darling. My favorite part was probably The Count helping the organist. So fun! They also had the guy who plays Prince Hans in Frozen do a lot of singing. He was fabulous, I love his voice but I'm too lazy to look up his name right now!
Last, but not least we met Jayce at the hospital for pictures with Santa. It was good timing, a good location, a good price (free!), and a pretty good-lookin' Santa!
Obviously Benson wanted nothing to do with him, Jack tolerated him because he was so fascinated by him, and Cameron wouldn't go near him unless he was safe in my arms. He did mention that he wanted me to tell Santa that he wanted a lion for Christmas though. So a lion he received!
