A Saturday Morning and Other Random Moments
Last Saturday morning I just noticed random sweet moments that made me grateful for every day life. I snapped some pictures to capture them.
The boys came downstairs like this:
And shortly after this:
Ben's new eye patches arrived in the mail and they're super cool.
The boys got really excited about making Spencer some baby food. They especially loved "shocking" the peas.
When Jayce woke up, it was feeding time!
There's just something about homemade baby food that I love. It's not that the store bought stuff isn't fine and dandy, I've just really enjoyed making all the boys their baby food. It's rewarding to start off with the whole vegetables and fruits and turn them into something bright, delicious, and nutritious for a baby.
Some other random peaks into our lives:
I cut my hair. The humidity and heat in Georgia, having it fall in Spencer's face every time I lay him down, having it get caught in Spencer's fist, and just having it be too long to manage all had me very ready for a shorter change. To top things off I hit my shedding stage that always comes around 4 months postpartum and I became desperate for a cut.
It feels good!
Taken when I was watching a friend's kids for our babysitting co-op. It's fun to get some girly-ness in with this bunch and the mother vibes are just pouring off of the older two!
The stars aligned and these boys happily colored for a good chunk of Sacrament meeting today while a friend rocked Spencer. Jayce and I got to listen to the speakers and soak in some nourishment. All the speakers talked about how to prepare for Conference and add that to last night's great Women's Session and I'm pretty excited for a relaxing Conference weekend.
On a completely random note, I'm going to take a picture like this with my sisters someday.
You're welcome, Rachel!
