Stone Mountain, Take 2

We got free tickets to Stone Mountain through our gas company again this year, score! Last year we all left the park with that happy, warm, tired feeling and the boys were very excited about going back. Sadly we couldn't find that magical day when our free passes and Jayce's days off worked, so in the end I decided to take the boys to Atlanta myself. We had a wonderful day, but we all longed for Jayce Face too.

Our "we made it and all is well" picture for Daddy.

Loving the slide. Ben normally exits with style. He's also very into rolling onto his carpet square at Joy School, such flare can't be taught.

The boys have taken up the tradition of creating pressed pennies on our family excursions, which I enjoy. Each of them had a goal to earn money to spend at Stone Mountain (read the cable car lets right out into a gift shop and I wanted to be prepared for it this time) and they all deemed this worthy of .51 cents.

Their chosen spoils. I admit, I was pretty surprised that out of everything available Jack and Ben chose some Powerade, but they had no regrets!

Benson walked around the rest of the park like this, which I thought was adorable.

The Swiss-made cable car taking us up to the top of Stone Mountain.

And at a certain point the rest of the world was lost to us in the mist! It reminded me of being at my in-laws house in Draper. <3 p="">

Thanks selfie stick!

We did the traditional muscles picture to send to Daddy. Last years:

When Jack is done, he wilts quickly. 😂

Adults and children alike enjoyed the bubble man's amazing bubbles.

Visiting Candy and the gingerbread man again. Cameron told me this summer that he wanted us to move to Stone Mountain so that we could live in a house like this, just like Candy, and then it would be Christmas all the time.

Right at the end of the day, shoulda used the selfie stick!

This kid was out before we backed out of our parking spot and it took the smell of food arriving at our table in McDonald's to wake him.
