Porter Post

We kept seeing this frozen yogurt place every time we drove down Parker Road, and every time we passed it we thought, "We should go check it out sometime." So, we finally made it over there during Jayce's dinner break the other day. The best part was we found a coupon online on our way over that was buy one get one free, so we got both of these beauties for a little over $4 and it was soooo worth it. Don't you love moments like that? There is something so refreshing about getting a great deal and loving your purchase.  Our favorites were cake batter and coconut. Can't wait to go back! We've already planned out what flavors we would get and what toppings we would put on. Mmm..mmm..good.

Jayce came out of his quiz yesterday feeling really good and I felt like he needed a nice relaxing break before he started preparing for his next exam on Friday. Plus...I wanted to celebrate him getting the Air Force Scholarship. :-) Can't believe I dropped that bomb, right? More to come on that awesomeness! So, we went to Cherry Creek. So relaxing, such nice weather, good company, yummy food...are you noticing that these sorts of things bring me happiness? Haha...that's a pretty good trend in these posts I guess. Here is another little piece of my life. We decided that it would be fun to meet at the park and take a stroll down Mainstreet in Parker the other day. No it is not "Main Street," yes it really  is "Mainstreet." So weird after Utah, right? It was really cute and fun...and we kind of took over Mainstreet. And the cupcake shop. My favorite moment--"Mommy, I'm all done with my scooter, can you take it?" Janelle: "Ohmygosh, yes. That's why I brought it, because I was hoping I could carry it for you!"

Cam Bam and I went and picked Jayce up from school the other day so that we could eat dinner at the park. It was nice since it was out of the ordinary from our normal routine and Jayce got to see Cam at the park which is kind of rare. I get spoiled that way. The weather was nice, the sun was setting slightly so everything had an amber glow, the dinner was good, and it was just nice to talk. :-) I have a BIG crush on this man.

They say that pictures tell stories. Let me tell you this one:  Cameron: "Oh hey, Evie. Come on over here with me." Evie: "That's okay, I prefer the rocks over there."  Cameron: "No REALLY Evie! Come over here with ME."  Evie: "Cameron, I don't like it when you pull on me." Cameron: "Sure ya do!!" Cam's thoughts: "Nailed it. She totally LOVES me." Cameron: "That's right, come on over Evie." Thinking: "Man, I just can't keep these girls away from me!" Evie: "See ya..!" Cameron: "I HATE girls! MOOOOOOOMMMMM!"

Every time I talk to family lately I've been able to say, "Yeah, I went and did blah blah blah with the med school wives." And the responses are always, "Haha, 'med school wives'-that sounds like it should be a show!" or "How do you already know other people?!" Well, here you are! You can meet them too. :-) I love friends. I love my friends from previous stages of my life and I love the friends that I have already made in this stage of my life. I can tell that medical school is going to be a fun four years with these ladies by my side. We have been doing stuff ever since orientation week and I LOVE it! Pool, park, splash pads, girls nights, running, and Cherry Creek Reservoir. I even made them come over for ice cream on my birthday so that ...

Cam loves things with wheels. Cam loves bath time. Cam loves splash pads. Cam finds lollipops when Mommy isn't looking. Cam enjoys eating lollipops. Cam gets snuggly when he has a fever. Cam loves brushing his teeth before bed. (Mom loves making stupid smiley faces at Cam). Cam now loves sleeping with his leg sticking through the slots of his crib. Cam still loves to dance. Cam still loves Peek-A-Boo. Cam loves Mommy, and Mommy loves Cam. :-)
