Dear Holidays, come quickly!

Here is what I have been looking forward to the last couple of months:

#1--Going to California for Thanksgiving at my fantastic Aunt and Uncle's in Palo Alto. As my dad would say, "Palo Alto is paradise." Plus, these champs will be there this year:

And I'm sure we will be eating a lot of this:

And it's been confirmed that we will be watching this:

And oh how we love the company of Aunt Tee and Uncle Ken! I can't wait to step off the plane and smell California and jump into the car with Aunt Tee!

Then after the craziness of the semester we will take off from this:
And then end up here:
Auckland, New Zealand

With these fine people:
Doing some of this:
Definitely some of this:
And celebrating this!!!:
Oh how I love the holidays! All that they represent and celebrate, the good feelings that come from them, the people I get to be with, and the memories that are made! These last two weeks of school have been sooooo slloowwwww and I just can't wait for fall semester to come to a close. I know you should never wish the time away, but this semester was just more than I had anticipated for some reason. I think that I'm just burned out from so many consecutive semesters/terms over the last little while. My stretch has been summer term, fall, winter, spring term, summer term, and now back into fall (and I still have winter, spring, and then summer to go...ahhh!) I was doing great until I got about a month into fall semester and now I have totally checked out...no good! If I can just bust through the last bit of the semester then I can rejuvenate in New Zealand and hopefully be refreshed for winter. Luckily I have Jayce, Christmas music, and awesome friends & family to keep me going!
