Mr. Bunny's End

Meet Mr. Bunny:
I have had Mr. Bunny for as long as I can remember. I'm pretty sure I got him when my family lived in France, in which case I have had him since kindergarten. Did any of you hold on to your stuffed animals for so long? Am I alone in the world?

Anyways, my mom brought Mr. Bunny out with her when she came to visit for my graduation just barely. He is so tattered and worn out now that he actually looks pretty gross to be honest. His beatings come from nothing but love though. He's been cut open, patched up, slobbered on, and snuggled with. Jayce and I decided to take a few photos with him and then toss him. (So much for love and tenderness, right?)

Needless to say he and Cameron were the best of buds for a few moments in time. As I was walking from the bedroom to the kitchen trash can I couldn't believe that I actually started to feel sad about throwing him away. I instinctively started to cradle him in my arms-no joke. Hahaha, isn't that just ridiculous?! I felt just like Andy in Toy Story 3 when he finally gets rid of Woody! I actually had to resist feeling like Cid as I opened the trash can. I must be a little sick in the head. Here's to the memory of Mr. Bunny! What a good rabbit you turned out to be. :-)
