Well, I have conquered the beast:
I have actually completed a quilt. I highly doubt I will make quilting a hobby of mine, but one here and there will suffice for my life time. I had too many t-shirts and I'm sure I'll collect more over the years, so Jayce and I decided a t-shirt quilt of our memories at BYU would be a good family blanket. It took months, but I love it! It's super comfy and warm and it brings back good memories. It DEFINITELY has obvious flaws though. Really, I'm not just trying to be modest. When you look at the back of it, it is actually quite comical because of how uneven the binding is. (The binding is the blue ribbon looking stuff around the edges) I don't mind it though, I was so over being a perfectionist with this project and it kind of adds to the fun of the memories behind it.
Annnnnd...Cameron got in the pool for the first time yesterday! My brother-in-law is a lifeguard at the pool down the street and they were doing free lessons to help them practice. Believe it or not they do have a class for Cameron's age and it was free so I figured, why not?! He really didn't like it at first but got a little more used to it over the course of the 45 minutes we were in there. It was fun! And although I felt bad that he was scared, I'll take all the scared cuddles I can get before he grows up!
And this one is just for kicks, we were out doing yard work. :-)
