Porter Boy Highlights

CAMERON

One of Cam's biggest pals is Lilly and I absolutely love watching them play together because they actually play. They pretend to sneak up on monsters in closets (thank you Monsters, Inc.), they pretend to have picnics, they chase each other, they just have so much fun together. A couple of weeks ago at a play date my friend walked back there to check on one of her kids to find Cameron and Lilly holding baby dolls. Kelly walks in and Cameron looks at her with the biggest smile and all the innocence in the world and says, "WE'RE MAKING BABIES!!!!!"
Cute side note on Lilly, I got this text from her mom a couple of days ago:
"We have Piano Guys playing in our home. Lilly is dancing around singing, 'I'm gonna marry Cam! Mommy's gonna marry Daddy! I'm gonna marry Cam! We're going to dance in the temple! We're going to be married in the temple!'" hahahahaha.

JACKSON

Also, this happened:

Jackson has reached the height limit on his infant car seat, so he's moved up into a convertible car seat. Meaning, there's no more taking him out of the car still in his carrier. Heeeere we go!

As was anticipated, Jackson only lasts so long sitting in a cart. He just loves being on the move! Crazy, warm, squishy, jolly, mobile boy. :-)

Benson will be joining him in another month or so and then what?? Luckily Costco has the lovely big carts that I so adore and Cam is happier walking, but what do I do in the normal grocery stores that have only one sitting spot in the cart?! Luckily I've been working it so that I do most of my shopping without the kids, so it will be a rare situation to have to deal with.

Here's our Jackie-boy after eating a nutrigrain bar this week.

mmm...!

BENSON

Benson has been lighting up my life with his smiles lately. He gives them so easily now and we used to have to pull them out of him. What I love about them most is that his eyes just light up when he smiles! I frequently call him my bright-eyed boy. And those cheeks! Can't. get. enough.

One a side note, my visiting teachers were over the other day and took a picture of this happening:
It started out with Jack and Ben at random spots on the floor and Cameron playing around in the hall and then somehow morphed into this over the course of the lesson. Apparently I have a strong gravitational pull. But I like it. :)
