Cameron's Bday Activities
I asked Cameron what he wanted to do that morning and he said he wanted to go to the zoo, so to the zoo we went!
This is Cameron trying to tell me how old he is with his fingers. It takes a lot of concentration. ;-)
After the zoo, Cameron helped me make the peanut butter cookies for his birthday party the next day. I rolled the dough into balls and he placed them on the cookie sheet. He did a pretty good job, don't you think?!
The next day we had Cameron's first birthday party with friends. It was really low key.
The party was centered around Cameron's favorite things. The color yellow, balloons, balls, pizza, running around, and cookies.
Cameron got really excited about his cousin Porter's arrival. He was kind of like Cameron's new shiny toy to show off to his friends. He just started yelling, "Hey guys, look it's Porter!! Hey guys, it's my Porter!!" So sad we won't have the Nardizzles around next year!!!
Instead of candles, we gave the kids sparklers after lunch. It was a little challenging to light them with the wind, but it worked out in the end.
Kids are really good at group photos.
We love all of our Colorado friends and we will miss this bunch immensely next year!!!
