Snow Day!

It snowed this week!! There's just something really exciting about the first solid snow and luckily Cameron was just as excited as I was.

Jack and Ben were not-so-jazzed at first, mainly because of gloves. They hate gloves. So, Cameron bursts through the door as soon as I've managed to get all of the essentials on him and then I spend a few minutes trying to put gloves on screaming 18-month-olds. Finally I just give up on the gloves and literally leave them rolling around on the floor crying while I step outside with Cameron for a couple of minutes to regain some sanity.
Sanity reclaimed I go back in and manage to get Ben's gloves on. Then I bring him outside with me because I know that if I can just get him in the snow he'll forget the gloves and start having fun. Win!

After a minute of helping Ben feel comfortable in the snow I go back in for Jack (who's still tantruming on the floor) and finally just call it quits with the gloves because there's no way in hades I'm getting them on his hands unless I chop them off, put the gloves on, and then stick his hands back on.

He was grumpy for almost the whole time, but I was still really glad we all went out.

And of course, as soon as he put his hands in the snow he got upset about his hands being cold!

This is how Cameron hides in hide-and-seek :-)

During nap time Cameron helped me shovel.
