Moments
Our front yard somehow turned into a Pokemon card trading post for the neighborhood kids about a week ago. I'm really going to miss this. This is one of those magical childhood neighborhoods where kids play outside all the time, they explore, they socialize, everybody knows everybody else, and parents can be at peace letting their kids wander the neighborhood.
Sophia came to the park with us one evening and wanted to see if she could fit into one of the baby swings. When he saw her Cameron rushed over and said, "Oh Sophia, I can push you!"
We spent a good portion of this park visit trying to figure out who's lost bunny was roaming around. The people across the street saw us failing miserably to catch the bunny and came out to tell us that it was theirs and his name was Cinnamon and he wandered around all the time and that it was okay. We talked a bit and then when we were parting ways Jack desperately wanted to follow the bunny again so I explained that the bunny was named Cinnamon and that he was home now. Jack looked at me with his angry eyes and grunted, "He's not cinnamon! He's bunny!" I couldn't even suppress my laugh.
Cameron had his last soccer game:
I used some birthday money to get this shirt I had been wanting for a while. It's from a website called Beauty Redefined that I have visited here and there over the last few years. The premise of it is to educate people about how the media portrays our bodies and to try to help people get on board with "taking beauty back" from the media. Twin sisters in a PhD program at the U started it and I think it's wonderful.
A boy from across the street babysat the boys while I had a girl's night out with my old roommates and I came home to find Ben in bed like this:

Dinner with roommies. So good.
Porter and Brooklynn decided to facetime us a week ago and it was sooooo cute. They were showing each other their favorite toys, new tricks they learned, and just cracking each other up. Lindsey sent this to me afterwards:
When I was de-cluttering in my room the boys ran in all excited and said, "Mom, Mom! We gotta show you what we did!" and "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! I gotta show you!"
I came out and they presented me with having put all the alphabet letters on the fridge.
My activity day girls came over and we talked about "putting on the armor of God" and then they made each piece afterwards out of cardboard and tin foil.
Cameron went to a hip hop class just to see if he liked it. (!)
