Easter

We spent Easter weekend up at Grammy and Grampy's! Since I was at the BYU ballet reunion, Jayce was the one to get the boys ready and the car packed and I have to say he did a nice job...

The weekend consisted of General Conference, dying eggs, a delicious and healthy Easter dinner, seeing Cinderella, an egg/basket hunt, and thinking about the Savior.

(And having fevers, because like I've said before, no week in the Porter family is complete without illness I guess.)

Really though, festivities aside, it was a great Easter season because in the last couple of months I've been coming closer to my Savior and developing a deeper appreciation for the breadth of the Atonement. Change is possible because of the Savior. He can heal our hearts, he can make us strong enough to carry our burdens, and he can turn weak and simple things into strengths. I know that this is true, you just need to come unto him and allow him to help you.
