One Saturday morning I came out of the shower and found this cute scene:
This happened:
It was short lived. We had the realization that when Cameron was Jack and Ben's age he had been sleeping in a toddler bed for a few months already. We let the idea sink in for a while and then we decided to be bold and try taking the front of their cribs off. After two nights of them laughing, climbing in and out of each other's beds, and fighting over the night light until they passed out around 10:00, we decided to put the crib fronts back on. We tried to make it a teaching opportunity and had them watch us do it while explaining that it was the consequence of not staying in bed, hoping that the next time we took the fronts off they would stay in bed. Didn't work! We tried the next night and then went through the same process. So, now the cribs are back together until they're 18 and leaving for college.

I was looking for Benson upstairs and couldn't find him, so I texted Jayce to see if he had snuck downstairs to Daddy's study room. This was the reply:
The view on my drive home from Costco. Ahh. :-)
