Lately...
The boys can't get enough of Jayce. I love watching Jayce be a father and they love him so much.
Jayce took them grocery shopping with him one day and they came home with new belts that they were so excited about. Who gets excited about belts to wear with church clothes? I think it's because Dad helped pick them out and made it fun for them. He also took them to the hardware store another day to get a few things he needed for maintenance around the house. They soaked it all up.
We really like doing babysitting trade offs with our friends down the street, the Marchants. When their kids came over here, all the boys got out the dress ups and had fun being kings, wearing medals, flying into space, and the likes.
Annie's sister, Lucy, came out for a visit so I ran over to say hi. We don't remember much of each other from when our families got together, but Lucy has been a dear friend of my sister Rachel's for a very long time.
We had our first snow! It all melted away pretty quickly, but it did snow all day. The boys LOVED it. Jack and Cameron spent a couple of hours out there building this snowman and just enjoying the snow with a neighborhood friend, Watson.
Watson and Jackson.
While we were out and about earlier that day, Watson and a few of his siblings came over and made this snowman for us as a surprise when we got home. I love this family! That night Watson wanted to make sure that we got this one in a picture too. :-) Cameron jumped in for this one.
The next day.
Maybe it was the snow, or looking at the Christmas stuff while de-cluttering the garage, or listening to a podcast about simplifying the holidays, but this happened this week.
And I'll keep listening to holiday music from here on out! The Terry side might disown me.
I'M SO EXCITED FOR THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS!!!!
