Back in Draper
We will be living with my in-laws until our big move in June. We find out where we will be moving to for residency in just a few days. Woohoo! It pulled on my heart strings quite a bit to leave Santaquin, but we look forward to the upcoming chapter. I can't wait to finally know where that will be so I can let myself research, emotionally invest, and plan. Oh, it will be glorious!
Until then, here are some of the happenings since we came up to Draper.
We met up with my dear friend, Cami Moody at the zoo. She has a pass that got us in for free and Cameron has been randomly voicing his wish to go to a zoo for several months now, so it worked out perfectly.
I've got to say that hands down my favorite site was this peacock. I had never seen a peacock put it's feathers out before! I was pretty excited.
The boys loved the reptile house the most this time around I think. These are the only other picture I got while we were there:
They were so excited to bring their lunch boxes with them that they each carried theirs the entire time while we walked through the zoo. Thanks to Bammy for those suckers! All of the grandchildren got them for Christmas this year and their darling. Unfortunately you can't see the front in any of these pictures.
The boys are still finding adventures outside. I love watching them get messy outside. Wish I could skip over the "getting un-messy" stage, but what can ya do?
I of course, will just never get over the view.
Benson found this while we were going through the garage and asked me to put it on. I was happy to.
We have been helping my in-laws sell things they no longer want on ksl. It has been fun to meet the people buying the items and getting a tiny glimpse into their story. One guy bought a bunch of old skis because he was trying to collect 30 or 40 pairs to make some chairs to put by his fire pit, another person inquired about some snow boards we had up for the same reason. One guy bought a bunch of gas cans because he said his family lives up in the mountains or something and they have to keep fuel around to maneuver around their area or something like that. People have such interesting lives.
Anyways, I brought up the selling of things because they decided to sell the Rhino, so we gave it a good wash before taking pictures. Outdoor work AND water. Jack was all over it.
It's sad to see this sucker go because it reminds me of the first time I went up to their old family cabin in Heber when Jayce and I were dating! Such a fun time with Lindsey and Josh.
