Jayce was shoveling after one of the last snowstorms and made a staircase for the boys. Jack was of course all over going out to help shovel, so he got the treat of being first to climb up.

We seem to be passed the bigger storms though, all of this snow has now melted and the weather is supposed to get up to 60 today! Crazy. Although the grass is dead and ugly, it's a relief to see. I love freshly fallen snow, but when it just lingers on the ground for weeks it starts outstaying it's welcome for some reason. I become the sun's biggest cheerleader. It's not that I mind snow, I'd be fine getting a fresh coat, there's just something that makes me feel relief to see the old go before the new comes. I feel fresher. Am I just weird?

We'll see where residency takes us. We could end up with no snow for a few years or a dump truck load depending on where we match. Either way, we are excited for the next chapter!
