Utah To-Do List: Saying TTFN To People That We Love
We have really stellar friends. I just have to throw that out there first. I hate to brag about it, but I just feel so blessed to know such wonderful people. It has been fun to reflect on all of the great friends that I have made in Utah and how all of them played a roll in the different phases of my life out here. I've gone through major life changes in the five years that I've been in Utah and I've had friends there to help me through each and every one of them.
I had a summer play group for the last few months. It was so nice to go to parks and things and chat and catch up while letting the kids do their things. I love these women. They are the kind of people you can see for the first time in months and pick up right where you left off. 7.5 kids between the four of us!
These are some pictures from the splash pad park we went to:
I can't get over those twins.
We also went up to the cabin with who we have labeled as the "Colorado friends," but I guess that phrase will have a whole new meaning after we move out there on the 17th. Chandler, David, and Carissa were three of Jayce's best friends when he was growing up in CO and he has kept in touch with them over the years. They are all in Utah at the moment, so we have gotten together with them and their spouses many times. This was our last big bang. We played games, we ate puppy chow (their high school tradition), we hiked, we got out on the lake, we watched movies, and just had a great time together. You guys rock!
Cameron also discovered his love for peaches while we were up there:
And we discovered that it is unwise to take him to a restaurant when he is tired. :-)
I also got together with some of my old roomies for dinner in Salt Lake for another last horah. Man, these girls are great. We are all so different and all brought so much to the apartment sophomore year. Love it! I'll miss you David John Darlings. I was also able to go to the temple with Sarah and Lydia a week or so later and that was really wonderful. These are all such great women. God be with you till we meet again. :-) Love you all.

already miss you!
